Caveat Emptor: The Secret Life of an American Art Forger- Ken Perenyi
The first half of the book reads like a coming of age story (which I enjoy) and the second half really gets into the forgery. It was really interesting to read how he created his fakes and the true appreciation he has for art and the artists whose work he was forging.
Jar City- Arnaldur Indriðason
First Icelandic book I've read. The author did a good job handling the interconnected main case and other crimes. Parts reminded me of Don't Look Back by Karin Fossum, but I think this book had a stronger plot overall.
Silence of the Grave- Arnaldur Indriðason
Death in a Cold Climate: A Guide to Scandinavian Crime Fiction- Barry Forshaw (about to start the Icelandic section)
Up Next (probably):
Top of the Rock- Warren Littlefield
